‘Dear resident
I am writing to kindly bring to your attention a matter concerning the feeding of pigeons in our area. While we understand that many people feed pigeons out of kindness and compassion, it has led to some unintended consequences that are affecting the cleanliness and well-being of our shared environment.
- – Excessive pigeon feeding can result in:
- – Accumulation of droppings, which can be unsightly and pose health risks.
- – Damage to buildings and property.
- – Attraction of other pests such as rats and insects.
- – Noise disturbances, especially early in the morning.
We kindly request that residents refrain from feeding pigeons in public or shared spaces. If you enjoy feeding birds, we suggest considering controlled and hygienic ways to do so, such as using designated bird feeders in private areas.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping maintain a clean and healthy environment for everyone.
Yours sincerely”
Best regards,
Ghislaine Mikemoto | TMO Coordinator
